KoBu Certification for Martial Art Instructors
Thank you for your interest in our programming.
You can choose to become certified in one or all of our programs:
KoBu can be tailored to the needs of Martial Art Instructors. It can be used solely as an exercise program to get in shape and improve one's fitness level without emphasis on self-defense, or it can be utilized as a self-defense escape technique program that also has fitness benefits. You can incorporate KoBu into your school curriculum because it's easy to tailor it to your current market. KoBu can be implemented as a samurai-kickboxing cardio class or it can be used as a self-defense course for those that are interested in self-defense but do not wish to get a belt rank in the martial arts.
During your training, you will:
Learn the basic movements of your chosen program(s)
Understand how to manipulate the bar
Learn how to teach your chosen program(s)
Know proper form and safety habits
Evaluate your goals and understand how KoBu will benefit you and your students
Be given a test to assess your knowledge of what you have learned
Be assessed in your ability to teach your chosen program(s)
Successful completion of a certification course will qualify you as a
Certified KoBu Instructor.
You will receive the following benefits as a result:
